I'm Jackie, and I'm the creative mind behind these unique portraits. My journey in the world of visual storytelling began with a passion for film, and I've been working with images for over two decades now. I hold a BA (Hons) in film and even dove into the exciting realm of digital imaging before starting my career in visual effects for film and TV back in 2000. As a digital compositor, I blend various digital elements to create one seamless, lifelike image. It's a bit like magic! I love photography, movies, paintings, sculpture, illustration—in fact, I think I might love all art forms!

For 25 years, I've been creating these prints for my friends and family. The journey began with my own portrait at 30—a gift intended for my dad—and has evolved to include a recent mosaic of my mum. As my skills and experience have grown, the composites have become more technically sophisticated, while the mosaics have increased in complexity and beauty. It's always a joy to see people's reactions to these gifts. Their love for them matches my passion for creating them.

The idea of turning this passion into a serious business has been simmering in my mind for 25 years. I've been either too busy or, frankly, too afraid to take the plunge until now. What's most rewarding is the immense satisfaction it brings me. It allows me to apply my skills in a fresh way while still creating meaningful work and maintaining that personal touch I love.
