How much do your portraits cost?
The price of a portrait depends on the complexity, size, and framing options. We'll provide you with a detailed quote after a consultation where we discuss your vision. Prices range from £100-200 for a composite and £400-600 for the larger mosaic images.
What is the creation process for a Mosaic Portrait?
Consultation: We'll discuss your vision for the portrait, including the main image, the occasion, and any specific details. Photo Collection: You'll provide the photos that will make up the mosaic. Design and Layout: We'll arrange and colour-adjust the photos to create the desired main image. Review and Refinement: You'll have the chance to review the portrait and request any adjustments. Printing and Delivery: Your mosaic will be printed on high-quality archival art paper and carefully delivered to you. We will finally send the final digital image for you to print out as many times as you choose.
What is the creation process for a Composite Portrait?
Consultation: We'll discuss your specific needs for the portrait, including the style, theme, and occasion. Photo Selection: You'll provide a high-quality photo of the person you'd like featured in the portrait. We will offer a number of choices for the background image. Artistic Magic: We'll blend your photo with a chosen classical artwork to create a stunning transformation. Delivery: We will print out to your needs and carefully package and deliver your completed portrait and send the digital file to you.

Printing
Whichever portrait you choose you will receive a Gilcée print and also the digital file of your image so that you can print it as many times as you want! The digital fine art collection of Gilcée papers are archival with a shelf life of 70 years. The broad range of inkjet papers available offer a variety of different applications, quality requirements and artistic styles. We can advise you on papers and help you find the one for you.
